As Vice President of Skyline Living, an award-winning property management company, B.J. oversees the daily operations and business practices of more than 16,000 residential units across several provinces. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing, directing and managing all operations for Skyline Living, including financial budgets, staffing, and acquisitions/dispositions processes, while supporting Skyline's shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for its customers, people and communities.

 With over 20 years of experience in the residential rental sector, B.J. has acted as a Director and now holds the title of Chair of the Canadian Federation of Apartment Associations. She is the Past-President of the London Property Management Association.  Additionally, she is active as a Public Relations Committee Member and Education Committee Member for the Federation of Rental Housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO).

 As a seasoned professional, B.J. has spent much of the past 20 years dedicated to improving vacancies, reducing operating costs, and advising executive management on a broad array of organizational and customer service strategies, including employee motivation and training. She has a relentless focus on tenant retention, and has been involved in the development of best practices surrounding this core operational discipline.

 B.J. recognizes the significance of approaching management as a team. She enjoys fostering the development of her team members, and, while taking a high-level approach to operational management, she places equal importance on keeping sight of the day-to-day operations on Skyline’s “front lines” at the building management level.

 B.J.’s  passion lies in delivering a positive and memorable experience for all tenants, and it is her belief that business is about people, relationships, communities and results. Her philosophy is to communicate regularly and effectively to tenants, suppliers, internal team members, and the community at large, to reinforce the integral role the rental housing sector plays in Canada.
