It has been a very busy February for Skyline as the Skyline Apartment REIT and Skyline Retail REIT both took on additional properties earlier this month.

On Friday, February 6, 2015, the Skyline Apartment REIT purchased its first two properties in  the province of Alberta.

16255, 16265 & 16275 51st Street NW, Edmonton, AB had a purchase price of $33M and has 160 suites.

20 Kingsland Close SE, Airdrie, AB (just north of Calgary) had a total purchase price of $41M and has 192 suites.

The following Wednesday, February 11, 2015, the Skyline Apartment REIT purchased its second property in the province of Quebec.

239 Boulevard Deguire, Montreal (Saint-Laurent). QC had a total purchase price of $19.1M and has 185 suites.

Just two days later, the Apartment REIT entered the province of BC with the purchase of a 160 suite property at 900, 901 & 904 -100A Avenue in Dawson Creek, BC. The property had a total purchase price of $13.3M.

The Skyline Apartment REIT currently comprises 142 properties in 46 communities across six provinces, with nearly 12,000 suites.

Retail plaza anchored by Tim Hortons and Pharma Plus Drug Mart

On Wednesday, February 11, 2015, The Skyline Retail REIT purchased its first property in Wingham, ON. The property at 33 & 55 Josephine Street houses a Tim Hortons, Valu-Mart grocery store, Rexall PharmaPlus, BMO and KFC. It had a total purchase price of $7.2M and totals 38,162 square feet of retail space.

The Skyline Retail REIT currently comprises 40 properties in 28 communities across Ontario, with 1.1 million square feet of commercial space.
