Skyline Gives 8 Families a Special Holiday Season

Adopt a Family 2015 Toys

Over 30 moms, dads and kids in the Guelph, ON area will get a very special Holiday season this year, thanks to the efforts of staff at Skyline Head Office.

Skyline adopts families through the Children's Foundation of Guelph & Wellington's Adopt-a-Family program, which matches community donors with families in need during the holiday season. Skyline staff purchased holiday gifts according to each family's "needs" and "wants", including grocery cards, clothing, toys, books and games. Gifts are dropped off to the Children's Foundation in December so that they may be distributed to the families.

Additionally, on Tuesday December 1st, 2015, Skyline's Human Resources team headed out to the Adopt-a-Family "Santa's workshop" to help wrap hundreds of gifts. This was a great way to "wrap up" Skyline's month of volunteering in November, leading up to Giving Tuesday on December 1st.
