Jason Castellan is the Chief Executive Officer and Founding Partner of Skyline Incorporated. Since 1991, Jason has been in the business of purchasing, owning, managing and financing income-producing real estate, giving him almost 20 years of hands-on experience and making him the obvious choice as the leader and voice of Skyline’s vast investor base. As Skyline grew from one student rental house in Guelph, Ontario to the impressive REIT that it is today, currently spanning four Canadian provinces and valued at over half a billion dollars, Jason continues to lead his team with his first-hand expertise, modesty and a genuine love of the business.
As a graduate from both the University of Guelph and York University, Jason was also selected as one of Canada’s “top 40 under 40” and one of the forty most promising entrepreneurs by the reputable Ivey School of Business in 2008. He then successfully completed their exclusive Quantum Shift Program, which is an elite, invite-only event attended each year by a very small privileged group of individuals. Jason’s innate understanding of his business is also acknowledged and often sought after by the media and the industry, as he is recognized not only for his entrepreneurial achievements but as a foremost expert in his field.
Although Jason’s modest and down-to-earth qualities keep him grounded in the fundamentals that make Skyline the company it is today, his quest and thirst for growth and success are insatiable. His loyalty is always to his investors and being able to meet and speak with these individuals is the part of his job that he enjoys most. If it’s across from an investor’s kitchen table, or in his own office, Jason always makes time for those who help make Skyline Apartment REIT a reality. Jason has strong roots in Guelph and still calls the area home with his wife and three beautiful children.
