Matthew Organ - Director of Operations

As Director of Operations for Skyline Management Incorporated, Matthew Organ is responsible for the operational and financial performance of Skyline Apartment REIT’s real estate portfolio.

Matthew came to Skyline from Hertz Equipment, a recognized national brand and international corporation, where he started in their Cambridge branch office as a Sales Representative and quickly worked his way up to a management position.  In his vital role as Branch Manager, Matthew was responsible for the operational and financial outcome of Hertz’s Toronto Branch which represented its largest Canadian fleet; an over $20 million operation.  Matthew’s management experience, results-oriented and hands-on approach at Hertz has transferred very well over to his role at Skyline.
 
Matthew’s proprietary operational processes and unique philosophies are what have helped drive the profitability and overall successful performance of the properties in the REIT.  From managing vacancies across an 101 property portfolio to overseeing a team of nearly 300 property and resident mangers in the field across Canada, Matthew is resourceful and wears many hats.  His focus on environmental efficiencies and innovation have also been critical in making Skyline's apartments accommodations of choice for tenants and helping to make Skyline the 10th largest owner & manager of multi-residential property in Canada.   As a key member of the management team of one of the fastest growing REITs in Canada, Matthew will continue to play a critical role in ensuring that Skyline’s property management and tenant acquisition and retention strategies are industry-leading and best-in-class.
