Roy Jason Ashdown is the Chief Operating Officer and Founding Partner of the Skyline Group of Companies (“Skyline”). Jason (also known as “Roy”) has in-depth knowledge of construction and building systems, coupled with his practical experience in asset management, make him a natural at efficiently managing the real estate portfolios. His critical thinking and creative problem solving skills are fundamental to the portfolio’s overall efficiency and profitability. Jason’s comprehensive understanding of construction, negotiation tactics, market analysis processes and expense control enables him to maintain optimal performance levels for both REITs. His strong leadership and team-building skills have helped him assemble and manage an impressive team that supports his effective portfolio management. Jason is a competitive entrepreneur with a creative mind and good business sense. His positive approach to challenges and determination to improve asset performance will continue to propel Skyline towards its projected growth targets. Jason sits on the board of the Federation of Rental Housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO), the province’s leading advocate for landlords and tenants. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Waterloo.
