Skyline Raises over $60,000 for Three Local Charities

On Thursday, September 9th, 2011, Skyline held their 7th Annual Charity Golf Classic, a much anticipated annual event.  With nearly 200 golfers on hand, this year’s great event, with the continued support and generosity of Skyline’s investors, suppliers and business partners alike, raised over $60,000 for three local charities: Onward Willow, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph and the Children’s Foundation of Guelph & Wellington.

It was the biggest and most successful year to date, in fact, this year’s donation amount is double what was raised last year and overall this event has collected over $150,000 for local charities since its inception.  “Skyline is a proud community partner and we are thrilled that we could give back to charities that are doing such great work with children and families in need in our own backyard”, says Marissa Morettin-Teeter, Skyline’s Director of Investor Relations.  “We also want to extend a very special thanks to the many event sponsors and longtime Skyline supporters, without them none of this would be possible” added Roy (Jason) Ashdown, Skyline’s Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer.
