Deanna is responsible for the facilitation of all human resources programs, services, and functions supporting nearly 1,000 staff in dozens of cities across Canada. She oversees all activities surrounding recruitment, training, professional development, performance management, and employee satisfaction, retention, wellness, and engagement.
Deanna joined Skyline in 2011 with previous experience in HR at several corporations in varying industries. Over the span of her career, Deanna has developed a keen sense of hiring for cultural fit. She demonstrates a strong command of employment laws, compliance issues, compensation plans, talent acquisition, and staff development initiatives, helping Skyline to meet the ever-growing demands of an ever-growing corporation. She has proven success in introducing process improvements, wellness initiatives, recruitment programs, and employee performance development to drive corporate goal attainment.
Deanna holds a diploma in Human Resources Management from the University of Guelph as well as a CHRL certification.
