Skyline Delivers Over 300 Pairs of Shoes

Over 300 kids in a Guelph neighbourhood will get to enjoy a new pair of kicks for the back-to-school season, thanks to Skyline’s first-ever Adopt-a-Shoe initiative.

The Brant Avenue Neighbourhood Group, a non-profit organization providing resources for families in the Brant Avenue Neighbourhood of Guelph, reached out to Skyline expressing a need for children’s athletic shoes for the back-to-school season, and Skyline was thrilled to fulfil that need. With the help of local shoe store Shoetopia, Skyline arranged the drop-off of over 200 pairs of shoes to the Brant Avenue Group. Additionally, Skyline staff across the province purchased an additional 100 pairs of shoes! The Brant Avenue Group will be pairing the shoes with children’s backpacks stuffed with school supplies.

We are thrilled to have helped the Brant Avenue community in such a meaningful way, and look forward to contributing even further to this very worthy cause!
