Skyline Group of Companies is pleased to announce that Co-Founder & Chief Administrative Officer Martin Castellan has been recently appointed to the Real Estate Program Advisory Board (REPAB) at the University of Guelph’s Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics.

“Skyline continues to be a celebrated supporter of the University’s Real Estate Program, and we are pleased to welcome Mr. Castellan to the Advisory Board where his industry experience and insight will directly benefit the program’s curriculum,” said Rogier Holtermans, Assistant Professor of Real Estate Finance at the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics.

“The Board’s goal is to ensure that the University’s Real Estate Program remains relevant within the real estate industry. We have intentionally and carefully appointed industry professionals, like Mr. Castellan, who bring expertise across a range of disciplines within the industry.”

Together, the REPAB’s members bring extensive experience in real estate ownership, property management, sales and leasing, appraisals, urban planning, sustainability, and more.

Through his role on the REPAB, Martin will provide feedback and insight for the program’s curriculum, advising on industry trends and advancements. He will also help foster a direct link for students from the classroom to the industry.

Skyline has long been involved with the University’s Real Estate Program, offering $5,000 dispersed across three individual scholarships awarded to exceptional students in the program: a Skyline Scholarship, a Skyline Scholarship in Property Management, and a Skyline Sustainability Scholarship.

Additionally, Skyline management and team members participate in student case competitions, and each year Skyline offers the program’s students a valuable out-of-classroom experience: a tour of nearby Skyline-owned and managed buildings, hosted by Martin.
